I attended the University of Mississippi, where I began my journey of helping others. My first career was working for ophthalmologists as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician, a role I truly enjoyed as it allowed me to help people improve their vision.

In 2003, I became an insurance agent. Then in 2006, my son convinced me to move from Texarkana to Argyle to help them open their business and care for their children while they worked long hours. It was a wonderful chapter in my life. However, as the years passed and my grandkids grew up, they no longer needed my care.

Drawing from my insurance experience, I decided to specialize in Medicare supplements and Advantage plans. I have a deep understanding of the needs of older adults—because I am one. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the abundance of information we receive when turning 65.
